Self taught in the DJ art form, he has been behind the wheels of steel since 2004. Recognized as the undisputed “King of Christian Chopped and Screwed” DJ Primo was the first Christian DJ to create slowed down remixes for other recording artists and labels such as Much Luvv Records, The 116 Clique, SGR Music Group, Knine, Excelsius, Urban D, Rawsrvnt and Pettidee just to name a few. Recording Artists and Labels seek Primo out to create custom slowed down remixes of their hottest tracks for release worldwide. DJ Primo is now one of Much Luvv Records’ in-house DJs.
He currently has a Mixshow "The DJ Primo Chopped & Screwed Mixshow" on DaSouth Radio Network as well as producer of the Much Luvv Radio Show. You can check his own podcast on iTunes “The DJ Primo Mixshow”. Not only does he make chopped and screwed remixes, but he also creates Reggaeton,Duranguense remixes, video mashups and chopped and screwed videos. DJ Primo is a VJ now.
Along with his wife and 3 year old daughter, he currently resides in Houston. He has 9 years of military service, including two tours overseas, the first to Iraq in 2003 and the other to Afghanistan in 2007.
